Have you heard of Mt. Calauan? Yes. easy.

It’s high time to unveil the fact and impart that Mt. Calauan, Kalisugan and Lamot is actually Mt. Nagcarlang of Nagcarlan, Laguna, the National Mapping & Resources Information Authority (NAMRIA) so pertains.
Yes, it’s in Nagcarlan, the sleepy, tranquil town just a stone throw away from Manila.
So, have you been to the summit of Mt. Nagcarlang? With its height of 629 masl and it’s 360 degrees view looking to its far south is the majestic Mt. Banahaw and Mt. San Cristobal. Inviting…aren’t they? Then, try to picture yourself looking from southern til the southeastern foreground from where you at…..you will see five more mountains just as welcoming. Now, will you be thinking of trekking on them sometime soon ? Bring ‘em on brother! We can do it!
We have unearthed trails going to each summit passing-by streams to finally descent on waterfalls, lake or riverbed to refreshen our weary bodies of its prestine beauty. Afterwhich, a hearty lunch of native cuisine awaits everyone with pleasure.
So this is our trailhead: nagcarlanadventureloop.blogspot.com. We'll meet here. And from here we’ll go places.
